Mr. Willie E. Maness, age 56, of Medora, passed away Monday, January 11, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.
Mr. Maness was born March 6, 1964 in Salem, Indiana the son of George and Maggie Dearry Maness. He was a Army National Guard Veteran.
He is survived by three sons: Willie Newton (Monica) of Fredericksburg, Chris Maness (Samantha) of Salem, and Clancy Maness of Medora, two daughters: Brittany Schmidt (Douglas) of Louisville, and Maggie Maness (David) of Florida, five brothers: George Maness (Pam) of Salem, Kenny Maness of Salem, Michael Maness (Jodi) of Salem, Gene Maness (Christine) of Dryden, VA, and Roy Maness of Fredericksburg, three sisters: Julie Tussey of Palmyra, Patsy Brown (Paul) of Salem, and Pinkie Dearry (Matt) of Salem, twelve grandchildren, and his companion: Meda Delph of Medora.
He is preceded in death by two brothers: James Olen Maness, and Eddie Ross Maness, one sister: Ada Elizabeth Tussey, and his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, January 16 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakgrove Cemetery, Hardinsburg, IN. Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday from 9AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
