William "Tommie" Thomas Freed

Mr. William “Tommie” Thomas Freed, age 88, of Salem, passed away Monday, October 14 at his home. 

Mr. Freed was born December 20, 1935 in Campbellsburg the son of Oral and Mary Alice Denton Freed. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a member of Lost River Missionary Baptist Church. He was a retired Teamster. 

He is preceded in death by his wife: Barbara Seamon Freed, a son: Fredrick Wagner, a daughter: Jean Spears, a brother, and his parents. 

Tommie is survived by five sons: Michael Freed (Melissa) of Elkhart, Stephen Wagner (Cenisa) of Orleans, Paul Wagner of Amarillo, TX, Timothy Wagner of Indianapolis, William Morgan of Anderson, three sisters: Joyce, Faye, Linda, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Tuesday, October 22 at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Saltillo Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be held from 11AM-until time of service.
