William Franklin Huff

Mr. William Franklin Huff, age 90, of Salem, passed away Thursday, April 28 at his home.

Mr. Huff was born January 9, 1932, in New Salisbury, Indiana the son of Wayne and Myrtle Zimmerman Huff.  He was a retired employee of Shrum Supply and Salem Lumber Company.  He was a member of VFW, Salem Moose Lodge, American Legion, and Salem Senior Citizens.  He was an Air Force veteran.

William was preceded in death by his wife:  Barbara E. Huff, a son:  Wayne Huff, a daughter:  Debra Ledford, a son-in-law:  Vernon Ledford, four sisters:  Lois McGuire, Dorotha Chastain, Euphia Smith, and Elizabeth Rudder and his parents.

He is survived by a son:  Timothy Huff of Salem, a daughter:  Phyllis Morris (Randall) of Freetown, three grandchildren:  Britney Johnson, Heidi Hanna (Clayton Campbell) and Holly Thomas (Michael), and four great-grandchildren:  Caleb and Zynnlee Thomas, Xavair and Journey Meyers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 11AM-time of service.
