Wiley Ray Cooper

Mr. Wiley Ray Cooper, age 70, of Salem, passed away Thursday, March 29 at his home.

Mr. Cooper was born October 9, 1947 in Harlan, Kentucky the son of Wiley M. and Marie N. Cooper.  He was a Korean War Army veteran and a member of VFW, American Legion, and the local Veteran’s Honor Guard.

Ray is survived by his daughter:  Ranessa Cooper of Jonesville, Michigan, and a brother:  Ronnie Cooper of Vallonia.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother:  Gary D. Cooper and a sister:  Katheryn Tolliver.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 3, at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kossuth Cemetery with military honors.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11AM-time of service at the funeral home.
