Waneta F (Hinds) Simpson

Mrs. Waneta F. Simpson age 86 of Salem passed away Saturday, March 22 at 7:10PM at The Villages at Historic Silvercrest in New Albany.
Mrs. Simpson was born October 21, 1927 in Washington County the daughter of Roy Edward and Monta Thompson Hinds. She was a homemaker, a member of First Christian Church of Salem and Fort Nightly Club.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Kent Simpson, a brother: Raymond Hinds, two sisters: Margaret Frakes and Lois Miller and her parents.
She is survived by a son: Richard Simpson (Ann) of New Albany, a daughter: Connie Wright (Drew) of Salem, a brother: Hubert L. Hinds of Salem, 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5-8PM and Thursday from 9AM-time of service.
