Vivian L. McKnight

Mrs. Vivian L. McKnight, age 70, of Salem, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 17 at her home. She will be joining her beloved Jerry and many other saints. 

Mrs. McKnight was born June 18, 1953 in Salem the daughter of Ray and Audrey Davidson Bruck. She was a 1971 Salem High School graduate. She also graduated from New Albany School of Practical Nurses in 1972, and would spend most of her career as an LPN at Washington County Memorial Hospital. She loved to cook and read, and had read through the Bible numerous times. Vivian loved the Lord and her church family at Blue River Baptist Church, where she was a member. 

She was preceded in death by husband: Jerry McKnight, two brothers: Roger and Ronnie, one sister: Jetta Bruck Hudgens, and her parents. 

She is survived by a sister: Rosemary Jones of Paoli, two sisters-in-law: Reeda Bruck of Salem, and Becky Bruck of Scottsburg, four nephews, and two nieces. 

Funeral services will be held at 2PM Tuesday at Weathers Funeral Home with Pastor Brad Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Blue River Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 10AM until time of service.
