Virginia Rose (Nicholson) McClure Zink

Mrs. Virginia McClure Zink, age 82, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, December 30 at St. Vincent Hospital Salem.

Mrs. Zink was born November 7, 1938 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Harry and Ruby Kelly Nicholson.  She retired from Salem Community Schools after working in the Bradie Shrum cafeteria for several years.   She was a member of Canton Christian Church and Salem Senior Citizens.

Virginia married Jesse Wayne McClure on July 26, 1958 and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2014.  She then married Lowell Zink on April 20, 2015 and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2015.  She was also preceded in death by one brother:  Basil Nicholson and her parents.

Jesse and Virginia had two daughters who survive:  Marchita Roseberry and Teresa Brewer both of Salem.  She is also survived by two sisters:  Wynema Callahan of Salem and Nowana Schroeder of Bloomington, 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 1PM-time of service.  Due to restrictions only 25 people will be allowed for the visitation at one time and masks must be worn.
