Virgil E Emery

Virgil E. Emery, age 72, passed away October 29, 2023 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mr. Emery was born February 28, 1951 in Chiefland, Florida. The son of Frank and Marie Goss Emery. He was a member of the Campbellsburg Christian Church and was previously employed by Deaton MFG and Blue River Wood Products.

Mr. Emery was survived by his wife of 26 years Connie Little Emery, they married July 29, 1997. He is also survived by his sister, Molly Anderson of Salem, his cat Sassy and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Mr. Emery is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Larry Emery, James Emery and Leo Emery.

Services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 11:00A.M., at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 4:00P.M.-8:00P.M., and Thursday morning from 10:00A.M., until the time of service. Burial will immediately follow the funeral at Martinsburg Cemetery.
