Violet Loraine (Zink) Baird

Mrs. Violet Loraine Baird age 92 of Inverness, Florida, formerly of Salem, passed away Wednesday, March 12 in Florida.
Mrs. Baird was born June 22, 1921 in Salem the daughter of Silas and Clara Guthrie Zink. She was co-owner/operator of Baird Home Corporation. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Floral City.
Violet was preceded in death by her husband: Clifton Baird in 2011. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Carol Wichman in 2009, a sister: Crystal Ivalou Zink and her parents.
She is survived by two sons: Ernie Baird (Carolyn) of Salem and Kenny Baird (Nancy) of Muskogee, Oklahoma, a daughter: Jeanie Humphrey (Dean) of Fruitland Park, Florida, 15 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-6PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
