Tyson Lee Alexander, age 27, of Salem passed away Tuesday, December 28 at Harrison County Hospital.
Tyson was born May 20, 1994 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Chris Alexander and Misty Moore McGill. He was a 2012 Salem High School Graduate. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and loved playing high school football.
He is survived by his wife: Josey McIntosh Alexander they were married March 23, 2019. He is also survived by two sons: Owen Lee Alexander, and Grayson Reed Alexander, a brother: Brayden McGill of Paris Crossing, IN, a sister: Kirsti Cox (Garrett) of Fillmore, IN, a nephew: Rhett Cox of Fillmore, IN, his father: Chris Alexander (Christie) of Salem, his mother: Misty McGill (Shawn) of Paris Crossing, IN, grandparents: Ann and Tom Eberle of Campbellsburg, Teresa and Rick Walls of Salem, and Robert and Trishia Moore of Rosehill, VA, three uncles: Wayne Alexander (Angie) of Salem, Bob Moore (Sarah) of Mitchell, and Andy Eberle (Susie) of Salem, a aunt: Dana Spradlin (Tony) of Campbellsburg, and several other aunts, uncles, step-siblings, and cousins.
Tyson is preceded in death by his grandfather: Bob Alexander, and his great-grandmother: Helen Howell.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 6 at 6:00 P.M. at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4PM- until time of service at the funeral home.
