Troy A Knapp

March 29, 1962 — March 9, 2013

Mr. Troy A. Knapp age 50 of Salem passed away Saturday, March 9 at 3:32PM at his home.

Mr. Knapp was born March 29, 1962 in Washington D.C. the son of James Watson and Peggy Chastain Knapp.  He was a 1980 graudate of West Washington High School.  He joined the Lost River Primitive Baptist Church in 1982.  He was the owner and operator of the Leather Station.  He was a loving father and grandfather and an unwaivering Washington Redskins fan.

He is survived by three daughters:  Jessica LeMarr (Jeff) of Campbellsburg, Megan Baeger (Jeff) of Madison and Taylor Hedrick (Jason) of Salem, a son:  George W. Knapp of Oolitic, a sister:  Truly Floyd (Bryce) of Campbellsburg, an aunt:  Nancy Lee Knapp and 6 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father:  Jim Knapp.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Lost River Primitive Baptist Church.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
