TJ Pop Hart

Mr. TJ "Pop" Hart age 82 of Salem passed away Tuesday, November 26 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Hart was born January 26, 1931 in Woodbine, Kentucky the son of William and Lucy Walters Hart. He was a retired employee of the City of Salem Street Department. He was an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Maggie Hart, a son: Jeff Hart, three brothers: Charlie, Paul and Leland Hart, two sisters: Imogene Roop and Lelah Roop, 3 great-grandchildren and his parents.
He is survived by four sons: Stacy Hart (Kristie) of Campbellsburg, William J. Hart (Milly), Jimmy and Tommy Hart all of Salem, a daughter: Ruth Cole (Tim) of Campbellsburg, a brother: George Hart of Corbin, Kentucky 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow with military honors in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 9AM-time of service.
