Steven B. "Blake" Coats

Steven B. “Blake” Coats, age 18, of Salem, passed away Sunday May 2, 2021 at University of Louisville Hospital.

Steven was born October 29, 2002 in Clark County, Indiana the son of Steven L. Coats and Karla A. Sieg.  He was a student and worked part-time for Weapons Pro Gun Store.

He is survived by his parents:  Steven and Jayme Coats of Salem and Karla Sieg of Scottsburg.  He is also survived by three sisters:  Mackinze Coats, Dejah Cain and Emily Coats all of Salem, a step-brother:  Draven Jones of Salem, grandparents:  Shirley and Freeman Coats of Pekin, Angela Colwell and Pat Willey of Hibernia, and step-grandparents:  James Robertson and Carrie Robertson of Ramsey.  He was preceded in death by his step-grandmother:  Susan Robertson, and one aunt:  Claudia Taylor

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Swayback Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 10AM-time of service.
