Mr. Stephen W. Duggins, age 67, of Salem, passed away Sunday, February 24 at Baptist Health Floyd.
Mr. Duggins was born September 26, 1951 in Tampa, Florida the son of William “Bill” and Phyllis Hinkle Duggins. He was a retired journeyman for Oxford Automotive in Corydon. He was a member of Mt. Hebron Church and Washington County Gun Club.
Steve is survived by his daughter: Julie Duggins of Salem, a granddaughter: Joy Matlock of Salem, his ex-wife and friend: Lynda Smith Duggins, aunts and uncle: Ed and Donna (Hinkle) Wiedemer of Louisville and Anita Hinkle of Guatemala, cousins: Grant Wiedemer of Boston, Massachusetts, Bruce Wiedemer of Louisville, Carolyn Wiedemer of Louisville, and Carolyn Porter of Louisville, brothers and sisters in law: Stewart and Mary (Smith) Dodge of Greenville, Indiana, Peg (Smith) Boulet of Salem, and nieces and nephews: Jerry Melton (Andrea), Jamie Robertson, Jon Boulet (Cathy) and Chris Boulet. He is also survived by two friends: Doug Brown and Jeff Loven.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandfather: Don P. Hinkle, aunt: Pat (Hinkle) Monahan and cousins: Michael and Vincent Porter.
Stephen chose cremation and a memorial service will be held March 23 at 11AM at Mt. Hebron Church.
