Shirley A (Alexander) Voyles

Campbellsburg

Mrs. Shirley A. Voyles, age 84, of Campbellsburg, passed away Monday, August 5 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mrs. Voyles was born August 1, 1935 in Campbellsburg, Indiana the daughter of Charles Nolan Alexander and Viola Fay Thixton Alexander.  She was a member of Turning Point Christian Church in Salem.  She was a graduate of Campbellsburg High School, Class of 1953.  She was a Bus Driver for West Washington Schools for 32 years.

Shirley is survived by her son:  Tom Voyles, and his wife, Barb of Campbellsburg, two brothers:  Hubert Alexander of Indianapolis and Steve Alexander of Campbellsburg, six grandchildren:  Andi Brough, Dustin Voyles, Ashley Sullivan, Michelle Roll, Darrell Brown and Lisa Walker, and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son:  Donnie Voyles and her parents and a great-grandson:  Lane Voyles.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8PM and Thursday from 9AM-time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to:  Washington County Women’s Jail Ministry, c/o Turning Point Christian Church 1410 E. Hackberry St. Salem, IN  47167.
