Shirley Ann Faulkner

Mrs. Shirley Ann Faulkner, age 86, of Salem, passed away Friday, December 9 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.

Mrs. Faulkner was born January 5, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky the daughter of Monroe and Myrtle Owens Sweeney. She was retired from Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Shirley was a member of Palmyra Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Daniel B. Faulkner, two sons: Paul Faulkner, Daniel W. Faulkner, a daughter: Janet Faulkner, three grandchildren: Roger Faulkner, Stacey Goode, and Michael Givans, and her parents.

She is survived by two sons: Tim Faulkner (DJ) of Fredericksburg, and David Faulkner of Salem, 10 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Otisco Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
