Sharon Jean (Maudlin) Wells

Mrs. Sharon Jean Wells, age 70, of Salem, passed away Thursday, April 28 at her home.

Mrs. Wells was born September 16, 1951, to the late Arthur Lee and Mary Louise Bush Maudlin.  Sharon graduated from Salem High School, Class of 1969.  She was a retired LPN.  She was a member of Douglas Church of Christ.

On March 19, 1976, she married Lowell Bruce Wells and he preceded her in death in 2009.  She is survived by her three children:  Michele Ford (Mike), Dia Becraft (Travis) and Corey Wells, seven grandchildren:  Devan Jerrell, Austin Jerrell, Alaina Davidson, Seth Jerrell, Lakin Jerrell, Paxton Becraft and Jakob Wells, and one great-grandchild:  Acen Jerrell.  She is also survived by a brother:  Ronnie Maudlin (Rita Kay), a sister:  Marcia Strange (Kevin) and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7PM and Thursday from 9-10AM.
