Shane Aaron Shaffer

Shane Aaron Shaffer age 40 of Indianapolis passed away Sunday, September 2 at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.

Shane was born June 28, 1978 in Paoli the son of Billy Bob Shaffer and Joy L. Maudlin Shaffer.  He was an employee of Bone Dry Roofing of Indianapolis and a graduate of Logansport High School.

He is survived by his wife:  Bennisha Patterson Shaffer of Greenwood, two sons:  Ayden Shaffer and Zander Shaffer both of Greenwood, his father:  Billy Bob Shaffer of Logansport, a sister:  Bobbie Jackson of Salem, a half-brother:  Shannon Shaffer of New Albany, grandparents:  Stanley and Sally Maudlin of Campbellsburg, 2 nieces and 4 nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother:  Joy Maudlin Shaffer, a brother:  Robbie Shaffer and grandparents:  Helen and Bobby Shaffer.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 6PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 2PM-time of service.  Burial will be at a later date in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
