Sandra Darlene (Satterwhite) Sabens

Mrs. Sandra “Darlene” Sabens age 62 of Salem passed away Saturday, November 21 at her home.
Mrs. Sabens was born July 22, 1953 in Shelbyville, Kentucky the daughter of Delbert V. and Mary Etta Rogers Satterwhite. She was a retired nurse’s aide for Washington County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Hebron Church.
She is survived by her husband: Tommy Sabens. They were married January 16, 1971. She is also survived by her son: Steven Sabens (Stephanie) of Salem, her daughter: Shannon Hurst (Matt) of Salem, two brothers: Michael Satterwhite of Salem and Larry Satterwhite of Fredericksburg, three sisters: Joyce Newton of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, Patsy Hauger of Salem and Janet Gay of Turner Station, Kentucky, and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother: Stanley Satterwhite and her parents.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
