Mrs. Ruby C. Weilbaker Shelby age 100 of Salem passed away Wednesday, November 15 at Salem Crossing.
Mrs. Shelby was born March 21, 1917 in Jackson County, Indiana the daughter of John Foster and Ella Gresham Foster. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth O. Weilbaker in 1976. She then married Ivan Shelby and he also preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her son: Marvin D. Weilbaker, brother: Robert Foster, two sisters: Hazel Petrick and Flossie Harmon, a great-grandson: Jacob Voyles and her parents.
She is survived by a son: Ronald Weilbaker (Wanda) of Bedford, a daughter: Sue Naugle (Steve) of Salem, 5 grandchildren: Larry Weilbaker, Bradley Weilbaker (Mellisa), Trent Weilbaker (Mary Ann), Brian Voyles and Paula McIntyre (Danny), 7 great-grandchildren: Daniel Voyles (Melissa), Colin Weilbaker, Brittani Weilbaker, Braden Weilbaker, Brilynn Weilbaker, Craig McIntyre, and Danielle McIntyre and one great-great-grandchild: Emily McIntyre.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Kansas Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00AM-time of service.
