Rosalie (Mahuron) Hobson

Mrs. Rosalie Mahuron Hobson age 88 of Salem died Sunday, July 27.
Mrs. Hobson was born April 17, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana the daughter of Lawrence R. and Hazel Martin Mahuron. She was a retired Nurse’s Aid for Washington County Memorial Hospital. She was a member of West Side Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Garold Hobson on September 27, 2005. She is survived by six children: Larry D. Hobson (Sue Jane) of Sellersburg, Rita Maudlin of Louisville, G. Douglas Hobson (Juliet) of New Jersey, Steven Paul Hobson (Pam) of Salem, James Kent Hobson (Melinda) of Salem and Timothy B. Hobson of Salem, one brother: V. Bruce Mahuron (Marcella) of Salem, two sisters: Audrey Romack of Greenfield and Marilyn Perigo of Evansville, and aunt: Ruth Curtis of Indianapolis, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home with burial to follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 10AM-time of service.
