Ronald "Ronnie" K. Sons

Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” K. Sons, age 84, of Campbellsburg, passed away Tuesday, March 19 at Meadowview Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Mr. Sons was born July 30, 1939 in Salem the son of George and Elsie Hughes Sons. He was a retired truck driver for Hacker Sawmill. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church. He loved playing music. 

He is survived by his wife: Phyllis Bennett Sons they were married December 15, 1956. He is also survived by a son: Cameron Sons of Salem, two daughters: Vonnie Shell (George) and Anita Gibson (Johnnie) both of Campbellsburg, eight grandchildren: Jayme (Allison), Miranda, Kylee, Stacy, John (Emily), Lacey, Dean (Melissa), and Jessy, and 11 great-grandchildren. 

Ronnie is preceded in death by a son: Keith Lynn Sons, a granddaughter: Jodi, three brothers: James Sons, John Sons, and Alfred Sons, five sisters: Mildred Clark, Alberta Sturgeon, Fern Sturgeon, Bonnie Jean, and Louise Sturgeon, and his parents. 

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Cavetown Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday from 4-7PM and Friday from 10AM-until time of service at the funeral home.
