Mr. Ronald L. Mays Sr. age 63 of Salem passed away Tuesday, February 21 at his home.
Mr. Mays was born July 10, 1948 in Washington County, Indiana the son of Gerald and Marilyn Shrum Mays. He was a retired employee of Holms Industries in Scottsburg and a reserve officer for Salem Police Department. He was a member of Mt. Tabor Christian Church, Southern Indiana Rifle and Pistol Club, N.R.A., and Cancer Crusaders of Washington County.
He is survived by his wife: Deb Howard Mays. They were married November 6, 1993. He is also survived by four sons: Ronald Mays Jr. (lLinda) of Salem, William Andrew and Wendell Allen Mays both of Bloomington, and Justin Collier (Jennifer) of Austin, Texas, two daughters: Kelly Mollet (Darrin) of Salem and Kali Strahl (Aaron) of Georgetown, a brother: Brian Mays (Trahnel) of Columbus, Ohio, two sisters: Patricia Bowling (Ben) and Teresa Mays both of Salem, his father: Gerald Mays of Salem, 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
