Rodney Steven Mills

Mr. Rodney Steven Mills, age 68, of Salem, passed away Friday, June 9 at his home.

Mr. Mills was born January 10, 1955, in Salem the son of Nova Mills and Gladys Bishop Centers.  He ran Mill's Drywall for 35 years.  He liked to ride his Harley and spend time with friends.

Rodney was preceded in death by his wife:  Marla Davis Mills on December 11, 2022.  He was also preceded in death by a daughter:  Kelsey Lockenour on October 18, 2007, eight brothers:  Kelley Martin Jr., Danny K. Mills, Harold Martin, Ervin Martin, Beachus Martin, Maynard Martin, Coy Martin, and Leroy Bishop, and his parents.

He is survived by a daughter:  Lynndi Lockenour (Michael George) of Jeffersonville, a niece and caregiver:  Jamie Wells (Eric) of Salem, caregivers:  Billy and Haley Burger of Salem, two sisters:  Joy Wynn of Salem and Connie Mills of New Albany.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Highland Friends Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11Am-time of service.
