Robert Eugene Whitfield

Mr. Robert "Bob" Eugene Whitfield, age 78, of Livonia, passed away, Tuesday, March 25 at his home.

Mr. Whitfield was born March 21, 1947 the son of Melvin Elmer and Lillian McNeely Whitfield. He was retired from Netshape, and was a former truck driver and farmer. He was a United States Airforce Veteran. Bob was a member of Livonia Baptist Church. He was a 1965 Paoli Highschool graduate.

He is survived by a son: Robert Scott Whitfield of Jackson, TN, four brothers: Mike Whitfield of Livonia, Ruben Whitfield of Orleans, Terry Whitfield of Orleans, and Randy Whitfield of Paoli, a sister: Peggy Nolan of Paoli, six grandchildren: Dillon Whitfield, Chanda Whitfield, Shelby Waynescott (Robert), Corey Neal Whitfield, Myranda Russett and Morgan Whitfield, six great-grandchildren: Jaxon Waynescott, Thea Waynescott, Maisie Russett, Westyn Morris, Langstyn Whitfield, Coltyn Morris, and one on the way, and the mother of his children: Dorotha Smith Janes.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Glenda McCrary Whitfield, a son: Corey Whitfield, a brother: Tom Whitfield, and his parents.

A celebration of life will be held at 6PM Monday, March 31 at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 2PM-until time of service Monday.
