Mr. Raymond M. “Corky” Hunt Jr. age 69 of Salem passed away Saturday, March 29 at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
Mr. Hunt was born February 17, 1945 in Tell City, Indiana the son of Raymond M. Hunt Sr. and Emily Beams Hunt. He was a Navy and Army veteran and a member of American Legion and member and past commander of VFW.
He is survived by his wife: Dana Bauermeister Hunt of Salem, a son: Raymond M. Hunt III (Kristine) of Camp LeJeune, North Carolina, step-son: Leslie Spaulding of Floyd Knobs, Indiana, a daughter: Kelsi Hunt of Salem, a sister: Bonnie Hendricks (Rick) of Louisville and 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Sherri Burgan Hunt. He then married Bettie Ann Cox Hunt and she also precedes him in death. He was also preceded in death by a brother: Donnie Hunt and his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.
