Ralph Earl Dean

Mr. Ralph Earl Dean age 54 of Vallonia passed away Saturday, November 11 at St. Vincent Hospital of Salem.

Mr. Dean was born August 5, 1963 in Salem the son of Robert Earl Eddie Dean and Daisy Bowling Harris.  He was a former truck driver and employee of Temple and Temple Construction.  He was also a former bouncer for Slim-O’s Tavern.   He was a member of Highland Missionary Baptist Church.

Earl is survived by his wife:  Zan Florence Dean.  They were married November 6, 1999.  He is also survived by a son:  Carl Isaiah Dean of Salem, a step-son:  Daniel Scott Voyles (Melissa) of Salem, his mother and step-father:  Daisy and Robert Harris of Salem, three brothers:  Carl Dean, Jackie Dean (Tammy), and Robert Dean (Denise) all of Salem, a sister:  Dawn Soto of Scottsburg and one granddaughter:  Lilly Voyles.  He was preceded in death by his father:  Robert Earl Eddie Dean and a step-son: Jacob Voyles.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Franklin Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 11AM-time of service at the funeral home.
