Phyllis A (Steward) Box

Mrs. Phyllis A Box age 72 of New Albany, formerly of Salem, passed away Sunday, August 14 at Westminster Health Care in Clarksville. Mrs. Box was born August 26, 1943 in Corbin, Kentucky the daughter of Lewis Allen and Helen Minerva Sasser Steward.  She was a homemaker and a realtor.  She was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Jeffersonville.  She was preceded in death by her husband:  Leslie Box, a son: Shannon Duane Box, a brother:  Frank Steward, a half sister:  Dora Fisher and her parents.  She is survived by a son:  Daniel Leslie Box of Louisville, two daughters:  Debra Ann Baker of Perryville, Missouri and Angela Dawn Williams of Campbellsburg, three brothers:  Tom Steward of Muskegon, Michigan, Duane Steward of Campbellsburg and Mike Steward of Cape Coral, Florida, two half brothers:  Charles and Eugene Laws, 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
