Peggy Dian (Casey) Keane

Mrs. Peggy Dian Keane age 76 of Salem died Wednesday, August 26 at 8:10AM at Hosparus Inpatient Unit in Louisville.

Mrs. Keane was born August 23, 1939 in Connersville, Indiana the daughter of Maurice R. and Belva Bryant Casey.  She worked with her husband in ministries in Missouri, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky for over 50 years.  She also owned, with her husband, the Christian Book Store in Cynthiana, Kentucky.  She was former co-owner of The Philadelphia House and had worked at the Bible Book Store in Salem and as a volunteer for the Women’s Ministry Center.  She was a member of Agape Ministries.

Peggy married Marvin Keane on August 10, 1956 and he survives.  She is also survived by four sons:  Michael Keane (Susan) of Cartersville, Georgia, Brent Keane of Charlestown, Indiana, Todd Keane (Angela) of Louisville and Jeffrey Keane (Andrea) of Salem, a daughter:  Marti Mercer (Rod) of Hendersonville, Tennessee, a sister:  Jerri Harmon of Salem, 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a grandchild and her parents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00AM at Agape Ministries, 1002 Lee St. Salem.

Burial will be private in Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
