Paul Ellis Cooke

Mr. Paul Ellis Cooke, age 80, of Salem, passed away Sunday, April 12 at St. Vincent Hospital in Salem.

Mr. Cooke was born March 2, 1940 in Salem the son of Walter and Gladys Simpson Cooke.  He was a farmer and a member of Bunker Hill Christian Church.

Paul is survived by his wife:  Shirley Thomas Cooke.  They were married June 18, 1961.  He is also survived by two sons:  Bruce Cooke (Susie) of Salem and Mark Cooke (Melissa) of Salem, a daughter:  Sherry Gore (Mike) of Pekin, a sister:  Carolyn James of Brownsburg, Indiana, 6 grandchildren:  Logan Gore (Chloe), Melody Mount (Daniel), Heather Churchman (Tyler), Tiffany Cooke, Peyton Cooke, and Ethan Cooke, and a great-grandchild:  Riley Mount.

Private graveside services will be held Thursday at Bunker Hill Cemetery.
