Pansy Mae (Armstrong) Branscum

Mrs. Pansy Mae Branscum age 78 of Salem passed away Friday, June 1 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mrs. Branscum was born October 7, 1939 in Frankfort, Kentucky the daughter of Russel and Dora Miller Armstrong.  She was a homemaker and a member of Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church.

Pansy is survived by her husband:  Milton Branscum of Salem.  They were married November 27, 1968.  She is also survived by two daughters:  Carolyn Deakins (Kim) of Louisville, Kentucky and Mary Newton (Barry) of Campbellsville, Kentucky, three step-sons:  Tommy Branscum (Annette) of Tampa, Florida, Ross and Curtis Branscum both of Eminence,  Kentucky, two step-daughters:  Rose Wineinger (Rodney) of Salem and Kathy Davenport (Michael) of Louisville, Kentucky, a brother:  Michael Armstrong of Carrolton, Kentucky, a sister:  Margie Moore of Lebanon, Kentucky, 18 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Kay’s Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 4-8PM and Tuesday from 9AM-time of service.
