Opal P. McKinley

Mrs. Opal P. “Polly” McKinley age 82 of Borden passed away Saturday, December 20 at Autumn Wood in New Albany.

Mrs. McKinley was born November 9, 1932 in Martinsburg the daughter of Oliver S. and Jesse Lovell Bush. She was a member of Martinsburg Church of Christ and Pekin Booster Club Lodge. She worked at the Charlestown Powder Plant and Green Banner Publications.

Mrs. McKinley was preceded in death by her husband: Norman Wayne McKinley, three brothers: Robert “Bob”Bush, Bernard Bush, Dave Bush, and a half-brother Cleon Bush, and a sister Helen Bush Crockett.

She is survived by one son: Gary D. McKinley (Lisa) of Borden, two brothers Newt Bush of Salem, John Bush of Gastonia, NC, a sister Nancy Collins of Aberdeen, Maryland,  two grandchildren Zackery McKinley of Bedford, and Skylaur McKinley of Borden.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:30 PM at Martinsburg Church of Christ with Rev. Brent Donoho officiating. Burial will follow in Martinsburg Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4-8 PM at Weathers Funeral Home and Tuesday from 1:30-2:30 at the church.
