Okie L . McLemore age 60 of Salem passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at his home. Mr. McLemore was born June 28, 1955 in Monroe Louisiana.The son of Fred and Leona Claudia Foy McLemore . He is a retired trucker. He is survived by his wife: Emilie Harris McLemore. They were married July 29, 1995. He is also survived by two daughters: Michelle Mason of Springhill, Louisiana, Elizabeth McLemore or Hampton Georgia. One son: Jason McLemore of Salem. Four brothers: Freeman McLemore Monroe of Louisiana, Freddie McLemore of Rayball Louisiana, Raymond McLemore of Salem, Richard McLemore of Hampton Georgia. One sister: Sarah Mejias of Hampton Georgia.Also survived by 10 grandchildren. And many others that thought of him as a dad . Mr. McLemore is preceded in death by one brother James McLemore and his parents. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 2, at 1:00 PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem. Visitation will be Friday January 1, form 4-8PM and Saturday from 9AM-time of service.
