Mrs. Mildred P. Rodman age 75 of Salem passed away Sunday, March 3 at 7:20AM at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Rodman was born June 11, 1937 in Parksville, Kentucky the daughter of Roscoe "Buck" and Mary Alma Pendygraft. She graduated from Salem High School in 1955. She was retired manager of Grandview Manor Apartments and a former employee of Skyline Restaurant and B.F. Goodrich and a former manager for Burger Queen and Druther's. She was a member of Blue River Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband: Max W. Rodman. They were married December 30, 1955. She is also survived by a daughter: Susan Rodman Walker (David) of Salem, two sons: Timothy Scott Rodman (Sally) and Max W. Rodman Jr. (Laura) both of Salem, two sisters: Dora H. Abbott of Danville, Kentucky and Carolyn P. Davidson of Medora, and six grandchildren: Bradley David Walker, Lindsey Walker Akers, Evan Andrew Walker, Joel Franklin Rodman, Taylor Ann Rodman and Halea Morgann Rodman and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Edgar T. Burger.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Blue River Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home and Wednesday from 10:00AM-time of service at the church.
