Melvin Ray Coker

Mr. Melvin Ray Coker age 82 of Salem passed away Sunday, May 25 at Salem Crossing.
Mr. Coker was born September 7, 1931 in Jackson County, Indiana the son of Frank and Lillian Maudlin Coker. He was a retired employee of Bata Shoe and Tecumseh. He was a Korean War Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Sandra Sue Street Coker in 2007. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a brother: Robert Coker (Leona) of Salem, a sister: Beth McCloud (George) of Tennessee, two brothers-in-law: John Street (Kathy) of Orleans and George Street (Judith ) of Mitchell and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Friday from 10AM-time of service.
