Mary Rita (Doyle) Summers

Mary Rita Summers, age 79, of Campbellsburg, passed away Friday, February 17 at her home.

Mrs. Summers was born September 5, 1943 in Loogootee, Indiana the daughter of Joseph Doyle and Clella Lents Doyle.  She was a retired unit secretary for Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.

Mrs. Summers was preceded in death by her husband:  Donald Summers, four brothers:  James Doyle, Jack Doyle, Joseph William Doyle, and Tom Doyle, a sister:  Alice Joan Doyle, and her parents.

She is survived by a daughter:  Michelle Duffitt of Campbellsburg, a stepdaughter:  Cathy Lovell of Greenwood, three sisters:  Ann McCarty of Indianapolis, Marilyn Kennedy of Greenwood, and Madonna Hasty of Greenwood, 5 grandchildren: Joseph Duffitt, Corey Duffitt, Brock Lovell, Christopher Lovell, and Heather Duffitt and 2 great-grandchildren:  Jacob Duffitt and Lilly Lovell.

A memorial service will be held Monday, February 27 at 3PM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Monday from 1PM-time of service.
