Mary Elizabeth (Beckett) Brooks

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Brooks, age 76, of Salem, passed away Tuesday, March 30 at her home.

Mrs. Brooks was born November 12, 1944 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of John Beckett and Warrena Minton Beckett.  She was a retired employee of Goodwill and a member of Mt. Hebron Church.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband:  Eugene Brooks, six brothers, one sister and her parents.

She is survived by a son:  Tim Brooks, a daughter:  Tammy Rippy (Mike) of Pekin, two brothers:  Donnie Beckett of Georgia and John Beckett of Pekin, a sister:  Joan Pixley of Pekin, three grandchildren:  Natasha, Brandon, and Micajah, and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2PM Saturday, April 10th at Mt. Hebron Church. Visitation will be from 11AM-until time of service at the church.
