Mr. Marvin J. Vonnahme age 76 of Salem passed away Sunday, October 18 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Vonnahme was born October 25, 1938 in Breda, Iowa the son of Alios and Elinor Nieland Vonnahme. He was a retired employee of Bender Lumber. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Salem Branch.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife: Judith Dodds Vonnahme on September 8, 2012. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife: Cheri Curtis Vonnahme of Salem, his son: Larin Vonnahme (Gwinn) of Crestwood, Kentucky, his daughter: Lori Elder (Doug) of Louisville, Kentucky, his brother: Lee Vonnahme (Lavonne) of Iowa and 5 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Claysville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 10AM-time of service.
