Mr. Mark Edward Fleenor, age 51, of Salem, passed away Sunday, July 21 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mr. Fleenor was born May 1, 1973, in Salem, Indiana the son of Carolyn Sue Fleenor Bowman. He did mechanic and home improvement work for many people in Washington County. Mark was a huge talker and would have a conversation with anyone, he never knew a stranger. He was the best storyteller and would always make everyone laugh. He would do anything he could, within his power, for anyone. Mark was proud to have been sober for over five years.

Mark is survived by his spouse of over fifteen years: Patricia Pearson of Salem, four daughters: Jasmine Guy, Jessica Fleenor, Autumn Bowman, and Amanda Fleenor, three stepsons: Ian Thompson, Hunter Lewis, and Coy Ford, three stepdaughters: Julie Cook, Crystal Durham, and Jamie Ford, 17 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, sisters: Heather Scott and Ressie Anthony, and brothers: Charles and Matthew Chambers and Leon Bowman.

He was preceded in death by his brother: Reggie Chambers and his mother: Carolyn Sue Fleenor Bowman.

Visitation will be Saturday from 10AM-2PM at Weathers Funeral Home. At 2PM, there will be an open mic for his friends and family to speak. Following the service, there will be a pitch in dinner at Lake Salinda.
