Marietta S (Sullivan) Maudlin

Mrs. Marietta S. Maudlin, age 77, of Salem, passed away Thursday, March 12 at Baptist Health Floyd.

Mrs. Maudlin was born January 16, 1943 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Lotus and Lucille Pollard Sullivan. She was a member of Smedley Church of Christ.  Marietta was retired from Wal-Mart Distribution Center as a Dispatcher and had previously worked as a Secretary for Winslow Construction.

Marietta is survived by her husband:  Nelson Maudlin.  They were married September 14, 1962.  She is also survived by two sons:  Scott Maudlin (Debbie) of Salem and Steve Maudlin (Julie) of Salem, four grandchildren:  Nathan Maudlin (Terra), Jared Maudlin (Tressa), Andrew Maudlin, and Cody Maudlin (Kristen) and one great-grandson:  Lane Maudlin.  She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister:  Martha Jean Haganman.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11AM at Weathers Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Monday from 4-8PM and Tuesday from 9AM-time of service.
