Marie C (Tuttle) Eberle

December 14, 1925 — August 5, 2015

Mrs. Marie C. Tuttle Eberle age 89 of Salem passed away Wednesday, August 5 at Salem Crossing. Mrs. Eberle was born December 14, 1925 in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana and resided most of her life in Bevier, Missouri. Her last few years were spent in Salem, Indiana near her son and family. Marie retired as a professional hair dresser. After retiring she filled her time as a care taker for the ill who were homebound. She enjoyed tending to her flower and vegetable garden, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Left to cherish her memory is her son: Floyd Tuttle and wife: Rhonda of Pekin, Indiana, sister: Verna Mae Derouen and husband: E.J. of New Iberia, Louisiana, sister-in-law: Doris Prados of Loreauville, Louisiana, brother-in-law: Danny Shoemaker of Bevier, Missouri, grandchildren: Tracey Tengs and husband: Jady of Parma, Idaho, Jillene Tuttle and friend: Larry Terrell of Borden, Indiana, David C. Tuttle and wife: Jill of Sellersburg, Indiana, great grandchildren: Seth Kline, Kyle Kline and Rebecka Means of Parma, Idaho, Tyler Tuttle of Sellersburg, Indiana and Clay Sharer of Boonville, Indiana and three great-great-grandchildren of Parma, Idaho and numerous nieces and nephews of Louisiana and Missouri. Marie was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years: Eddie Eberle and her ex-husband: David F. Tuttle, her parents: Frank Prados Sr. and Elizabeth Blanchard Prados, sister: Martha Berard and five brothers: Frank Prados Jr., Charles Prados, John Prados Sr., Issac Prados and most recently Leroy Prados. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Bevier, Missouri. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00PM-time of service. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Bevier, Missouri. The family would like to extend our sincere, heartfelt thanks to the staff at Salem Crossing nursing home for wonderful loving care and compassion given to Marie, also to the staff of Gentiva Hospice who were there to assist the nursing home through the end of Marie’s life’s journey.
