Malachi E. Zink age 24 of Salem passed away Monday, March 27.
Malachi was born May 19, 1992 in Louisville, Kentucky the son of Greg Zink and Sherry Huckleberry Wingler. He was an employee of Kimball and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his parents: Sherry Wingler and Greg and Cindy Zink all of Salem, sister: Maleah Hamilton (Jack) of Salem, grandmothers: Oma Huckleberry and Judy Zink both of Salem, step-brothers: Jared Chastain (Jackie) of Brazil, Indiana, Brock Chastain (Carrie) and Tyson Chastain (Mandy) all of Salem, and two nieces: Scout and Hollis Hamilton of Salem. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers: Leon Zink and Bobby Huckleberry and an uncle: Boyd Giere Jr.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 9AM-time of service.
