Lynn Marie (Gavette) Roberts

Mrs. Lynn Marie Roberts, age 82, of Salem, passed away Monday, October 31, at Salem Crossing.

Mrs. Roberts was born August 27, 1940, in San Bernardino, California, the daughter of Francis Israel and Ralph Gavette.  She worked in newspaper advertising and was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Salem.

Lynn was preceded in death by her husband:  John Roberts, two sons:  Jerry Dean and Joseph Dane Montezuma, a daughter:  Cheryllyn Jean Kellum-Walker, two brothers, two sisters, and her parents.

She is survived by three sons:  Jimmy Dale Montezuma of California, Troy Roberts (Theresa) of Lewisport, Kentucky and Daniel Roberts (Carol) of Lewisport, Kentucky, six daughters:  Ruth Leona Brown (Jerry) of Salem, Sandra Russell (Steve) of Tennessee, Patricia Lehman of Kentucky, Connie Roberts of Kentucky, Iva Roberts of Pekin,  and Danielle Sorenson (Dwayne) of Copperous Cove, Texas, two sisters:  Eloise Proctor (Rodney) of South Carolina and Penny Gavette of South Carolina, two grandchildren:  Sierra Roberts and Nigel Celaya, several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 10 at 2PM at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 1659 N Sparks Ferry Road, Salem, Indiana 47167.
