Lyman A Chastain

Mr. Lyman A. Chastain age 79 of Campbellsburg passed away Friday, August 30 at Jewish Hospital.
Mr. Chastain was born February 20, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana the son of Maurice Chastain and Ruby Stephenson Chastain Humphrey. He was retired from Washington County Farm Bureau and Walthers Farm Service. He was a member of Campbellsburg Christian Church.
He is survived by his wife: Esther Gilbert Chastain. They were married August 15, 1953. He is also survived by two sons: Tim Chastain (Leann) of Campbellsburg and Aaron Chastain of Salem, a daughter: Deb Penrod (Dane) of Syracuse, Indiana, five brothers: Roddy, Harold and Jerald Humphrey all of Salem, Dean Humphrey of Fruitland Park, Florida and Donald Humphrey of Santa Rosa, California, a sister: Martha Nixon of Sydney, Australia, 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather: Roger Humphrey and a granddaughter: Stephanie Chastain.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00AM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8PM and Wednesday from 9AM-time of service.
