Lucy Katherine Mise

We are sad to announce the passing of Lucy Katherine Mise of Salem, Indiana. She died in her home at the age of 92, on January 13, 2024. Lucy passed away surrounded by her loved ones, due to natural causes. She was a beautiful person who spread joy and happiness to her family and friends.

Lucy is survived by her daughters, Pattie (Billie) Couch and Mary (Billy) Brewer. She is survived by her grandchildren, Michelle (Ronnie) Lee, Shannon (Robert) Frost, Stephanie (Chris) Martin., Michael Couch and Jessica Couch. Lucy is survived by her great grandchildren, Christopher Amick, Justin (Michel) McDonald, Carlee (Josh) Lundy, Kendall Martin, Victorya (Brandon) Mauck, Mackenzie Martin, Bailee (Mariah) Martin, Caleb Couch, Jax (Kelly) Vogt and Zoe Couch. Also, she is survived by her great-great grandchildren, Lucas Lundy, Liam Lundy, Brynlee Mauck and Nolan Martin.

Lucy is preceded in death by her husband, David Mise.

A funeral service will be held in her honor on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 1:00P.M. at Weathers Funeral Home. Visitation will also be on Thursday, from 10:00A.M until the time of service. The pastor officiating the service will be Darrell James from Mill Creek Baptist Church.
