Lucille (Voyles) Gilstrap
December 22, 1919 — July 30, 2014
Mrs. Lucille Gilstrap age 94 of Salem passed away Wednesday, July 30 in Louisville.
Mrs. Gilstrap was born December 22, 1919 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Jasper and Fannie Huff Voyles. She was a retired employee of B.F. Goodrich and a homemaker. She was a member of Fredericksburg Church of Christ.
She was happily married to her husband of over 60 years, Howard O. Gilstrap. He preceded her in death on January 7, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her son: Larry Gilstrap, several brothers and sisters, her parents, a grandchild and a great-grandchild.
She is survived by three daughters: Barbara McCutcheon of Fredericksburg, Gloria Balentine of Borden and Karen Roll of Fredericksburg, 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 9AM-time of service. ‘
