Loren Renzo Gray age 88, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2016, in his home in Pekin, Indiana. Mr. Gray was born on July 27, 1927 to Arthur and Alberta Gray, Loren grew up in Pekin, graduating high school in 1946. Following graduation, he served in the United States Army Air Corps and attended Purdue University. He was a lifelong member of Bunker Hill Christian Church where he served as an elder for 36 years. He worked for the Pekin Post Office as a Rural Mail Carrier for 36 years. He grew up on, and continued throughout his life, working the family farm. Loren is survived by his wife of 63 years, Anna (McDonald) Gray, and three children, Thomas (Gloria) Gray of Pekin, Indiana, Lorna (Denny) Myers of Mooresville, Indiana and Robin (Jeff) Sanders of Zionsville, Indiana. He is survived by seven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. He is also survived by one brother, Gerald Gray of Henryville, Indiana and one foster sister, Brenda Reed of Georgetown, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Alberta Gray, and by his brother, Elvin Gray.
