Lois M. Cauble

Mrs. Lois M. Cauble age 69 of Salem passed away Tuesday, May 22 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville.

Mrs. Cauble was born December 19, 1948 in Washington County, Indiana the daughter of Delbert and Mary Gayle Walton Brewer.  She was a retired LPN for Washington County Memorial Hospital and Meadowview Health Care Center.   She was a member of Livonia Baptist Church.

Lois is survived by her husband:  Norman Cauble.  They were married December 21, 1968.  She is also survived by two sons:  Christopher Cauble (Melissa) of Salem and Darren Cauble (Heidi) of Borden, a daughter:  Marci Alexander (Danny) of Sellersburg, seven brothers:  Charles Brewer of Salem, Paul Brewer of Borden, Roger Brewer of Brownstown, Tom Brewer of Salem, Bruce Brewer of Salem, Scott Brewer of Pekin and Gary Brewer of Salem, three sisters:  Mary Hopkins of Salem, Barbara Bills of Salem, and Peggy Walker of Bloomington, and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother:  Robert Brewer, a sister:  Carol Hinds and her parents.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 1:00PM at Crown Hill Cemetery.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
