Lloyd V Farabee

Mr. Lloyd V. Farabee age 92 of Salem passed away Monday, June 10 at 10:45PM at Northwood Care Home.
Mr. Farabee was born October 30, 1920 in Washington County, Indiana the son of Harold H. and Bertha Lillian Karnes Farabee. He was a retired Sergeant from the US Army after 26 years and a former employee of Eddie Gilstrap Motors. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, American Legion and VFW.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Johanna Farabee in 1994, a brother: Ernest Farabee, a sister: Mildred Bullington, and his parents. He is survived by a son: Dr. Joseph A. Foistner of New Boston, New Hampshire, two grandchildren: Dr. Joseph A. Foistner II and Dr Jennifer Stanhope-Prive, and a great-granddaughter: Emma Grace Prive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:00PM at Weathers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery with military honors. Visitation will be Friday from 4-8PM and Saturday from 9AM-time of service.
