Linda Rae Meadors

Mrs. Linda Rae Meadors, age 75, of Salem, passed away Saturday, October 5 at her home. 

Mrs. Meadors was born November 21, 1948 in Bedford the daughter of Charles D. Lanz and Kathleen Kern Lanz. She was a member of Blue River Baptist Church and Tri-Kappa. She was a licensed LPN. Linda was a manager for Keela’s Hallmark, and then was a retired dental assistant for Dr. Crouch, Dr.Grassmyer and Dr. Crowley. 

She is survived by her husband: Rhodes Vernon “RV” Meadors, they were married April 19, 1969. Linda is also survived by two sons: Jay Meadors (Angela) of Indianapolis, and Ross Meadors of Salem, a daughter: Leslie Meadors-Smith (Steve) of Borden, two sisters: Lee Stewart of Asheville, North Carolina, and Sue Sheehan of Naperville, Illinois, nine grandchildren: Payton Meadors, Sydney Meadors, Carson Meadors, Joseph Smith, Kathleen Smith, Jacqueline Smith, Callistus (CJ) Smith, Mason Meadors, and Asher Meadors. 

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday at Blue River Baptist Church with Pastor Brad Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Blue River Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8PM at Weathers Funeral Home, and 9AM-until time-of-service Thursday at Blue River Baptist Church.
